North Sea

Atlantic Ocean

The North Atlantic Ocean is to be added.

	Episode 2x08 - "Next Tuesday": Helen Magnus mentions to Will Zimmerman that she was temporarily stranded in the North Atlantic Ocean on April 15th, 1912 after the Titanic sank.

Bermuda Triangle

The Bermuda Triangle is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean in which a number of aircraft and surface vessels are alleged to have mysteriously disappeared and cannot be explained as human error, piracy, equipment failure, or natural disasters.

Milwaukee Deep

The Milwaukee Deep is the deepest part of the Atlantic Ocean and is part of the Puerto Rico Trench. It has a maximum depth of at least 27,493 feet (8,380 m), and lies on the southern edge of the famous Bermuda Triangle.

Episode 1x09 - "Requiem": The majority of merfolk lived in the Milwaukee Deep found within the Bermuda Triangle. In 2008, Helen Magnus and Will Zimmerman were in the area aboard the Sanctuary submarine Nautilus to investigate the whereabouts of the merfolk after Sally was contacted by her people. After listening to Henry Foss and Will talk about all the mysteries of the Triangle, Magnus assured them both that there were no portals to other dimensions, no alien abductions, or any other paranormal occurrences in the Triangle. Aside from a high concentration of abnormal sea life living here, the Triangle is just a body of water. When Magnus and Will find the merfolk massacred, they encounter the undersea parasite responsible for their self-destruction.

Gulf of Mexico

The Gulf of Mexico is the ninth largest body of water in the world.

	Episode 2x08 - "Next Tuesday": Tahiti Field Oil Reserve is an area in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Louisiana that is full of oil drilling platforms. Helen Magnus and Will Zimmerman traveled to an abandoned oil rig located here to capture a vampire squid.

Indian Ocean

The Indian Ocean is the third largest body of water on Earth, covering about 20% of the water on the Earth's surface.

	Aerial view of the Indian Ocean. Episode 2x12 - "Kali, Part I": The Indian Ocean is the location of containment area that the Sanctuary Network was using to hold the abnormal Big Bertha until she was stolen by Edward Forsythe.
	Episode 2x13 - "Kali, Part II": After Edward Forsythe guided Big Bertha away from the containment area, he took her to the intersection of three tectonic plates and commanded Bertha to create land. After Terrance Wexford of the Sanctuary Network tried to destroy Big Bertha with depth charges, she launched a massive tsunami.
	Episode 3x01 - "Kali, Part III": The majority of the episode takes place aboard vessels in the Indian Ocean.
