The Hindu Kush, meaning "Slayer of Hindus," is a 500 mile mountain range stretching between north-western Pakistan and eastern and central Afghanistan. It is a sub-range of the Himalayas. It was the location of the plane crash carrying Helen Magnus, Will Zimmerman, Sylvio Rudd, and the recently captured Yeti.^[1]
