Ozone Beetles were a red-listed species of abnormals. They implanted themselves in the hippocampus, immediately causing a high, but later causing memory loss, insanity and an aversion to light. When trying to find a criminal within the Sanctuary Network, Helen Magnus used an Ozone beetle to fake insanity.^[1]
