Stargate SG-1 is an Canadian-American science fiction series and a television spin-off of Roland Emmerich's 1994 film Stargate.

Stargate Unas

An Unas from Stargate SG-1 in the Sanctuary episode "Edward"

Numerous actors from the show have appeared on Sanctuary, most importantly of course Amanda Tapping, who played Samantha Carter on Stargate SG-1 and its spin-offs Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe. As a matter of fact, Tapping discontinued her work as a regular on Atlantis to focus on Sanctuary.

An obvious in-joke referring to Stargate appears in the episode "Edward": one of the creatures the abnormal Edward Meyers draws is an Unas, an ancient race that has made a number of appearances on Stargate.[1]
