New York is a state located within the Northeast region of the United States. It is one of the country's four most populous states; the vast majority of the population living and working in and around a single city: New York City.[1]

New York City (commonly abbreviated as NYC, or simply referred to as New York, and nicknamed The Big Apple) is the largest and most populous city in the state of New York. It is also simultaneously the most populous city in the country as well as a global hub for international financial trade, which is located on Wall Street.[2]

Episode 2x03 - "Eulogy": During one of Helen Magnus's memory flashbacks to 1957, she is heard listening to a radio broadcast mentioning the 1955 World Series in which the Brooklyn Dodgers won against the New York Yankees. The Yankees are based in The Bronx while the Dodgers at the time were based in Brooklyn.
Episode 2x12 - "Kali, Part I": The New York Sanctuary is mentioned. It is located in New York City.
Episode 3x02 - "Firewall": Helen Magnus recalls Joe DiMaggio (a famous Yankee baseball player) having described the game of baseball to her once.

Wall Street[]

Wall Street refers to the banking industry located in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan of New York City. This area is named after the actual street that the banking industry centers around.[3]

Episode 4x12 - "Sanctuary for None, Part I": Helen Magnus has Richard Feliz shut Wall Street down for twelve minutes in early 2012.
Episode 4x13 - "Sanctuary for None, Part II": As Will Zimmerman and Abby Corrigan investigate Helen Magnus's current actions, they find that she has been secretly closing Sanctuaries throughout the past eight months. The New York Sanctuary is mentioned as still being operational. In order to better understand Magnus's motives, Will and Abby decided to dig into her past, starting at the beginning of her time loop as Helen Bancroft. They take into consideration the booming industrial era at the turn of the century in the very early 1900s. Historically, New York is known as a prime location for proliferating activity. Will suspects that Magnus impersonated her past self to visit Nikola Tesla, who at the time was currently in New York working for J. P. Morgan as he built the Wardenclyffe Tower on Long Island. Will figures out that Magnus had Richard Feliz shut down Wall Street for twelve minutes in order to hide the fact that she was liquidating Sanctuary Network assets.
